Walk through the Blue Reef Aquarium’s underwater tunnel, get up close to exotic animals at Newquay Zoo, stroll along the stunning Fistral beach, or stop at any of the wonderful independent Cornish restaurants and cafes.

A piece of history

Easily one of the most famous parts of Cornwall is the southerly most point of The Lizard Peninsula – only an hour away. This geological marvel is simply stunning and is just a short drive from our park, but if you’re willing to go a tiny bit further, take a trip to Land’s End; England’s most south westerly point with beautiful views and plenty of fantastic places to eat or drink.

St Michael’s Mount is just over 2 hours from the Park, making a perfect day trip to view an ever changing coastline that spans the granite causeway, St Michaels Mount is a medieval mixture of man-made and natural wonders. Showcasing a legendary medieval church that was built in the 15th century that dominates the skyline. St Michaels Mount is home to a very small population of around 35 people (figure correct as of 2011), and is only accessible between mid and low tide.
